Customization: your VPN's storefront
The Customization section in CreateYourVPN: the storefront address and subdomain, logo and favicon, accent color, support contacts, and installing the storefront on a phone.
The word "storefront" came up a few times in the previous lesson. Time for a proper introduction: the storefront is your VPN's website — the one your clients use. The Customization section controls what address it lives at and how it looks.
What the storefront is
Only you see the CreateYourVPN panel. Clients see the storefront — a separate site under your brand:
- email sign-in — the client enters their email and a code from the message, no passwords;
- a personal cabinet — the subscription and QR, app install buttons, your plans with a payment button, support contacts;
- on the paid tier — also a landing page: a full-fledged home page for your service.
The client from the previous lesson, whom you added by email, signs in right here — and picks up their subscription on their own.
The storefront address
In the "Storefront address" card you choose a subdomain: Latin letters, digits, and hyphens. The "Check" button instantly tells you whether it's free. The base domain depends on your platform tier:
| Tier | Storefront address | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Free | yourslug.createyourvpn.com | The client cabinet, no landing page |
| Paid (Pro) | yourslug.subscriberhub.xyz | Landing page + cabinet |
subscriberhub.xyz is a deliberately neutral domain: the address gives away neither the platform nor the fact that a VPN is behind it. Together with the landing page it makes the storefront properly white-label: clients see your brand only. More on Pro — in the billing lesson.
Your clients' subscription links (https://your-storefront/sub/…) live on the
storefront address — the subdomain from this card is your service's "face" in
apps and emails.
Branding
The "Branding" card is the storefront's look:
- Brand name — your service's name as clients see it.
- Description — the storefront's subtitle; it also goes to search engines and social previews.
- Logo — upload any image (PNG, JPG, WebP…), the system compresses and converts it automatically. The logo automatically becomes the favicon, the app icon, and the social preview image.
- "Storefront color theme" — an accent color from a palette of 12 shades: it colors the buttons and gradients of the cabinet, the sign-in page, and the landing. Light or dark mode is the client's own choice in the storefront.
The social preview is generated automatically: your brand name and description on a dark background with an accent glow (and your logo too, if uploaded). A storefront link dropped into Telegram or any messenger looks branded right away.
The storefront as a phone app
The storefront can be installed on a phone as an app: the cabinet offers the client to add the site to their home screen — with your icon and your name. You get "your VPN's app" without building an app: the client opens it with one tap and finds the subscription, plans, and support inside. If no logo is uploaded yet, the icon is a tile with the first letter of your brand name on the accent gradient.
Support contacts
The "Support email" and "Support Telegram" fields are shown to clients in their cabinet. Fill in at least one — clients get an answer to "where do I write when something breaks". Telegram can be entered any way you like: handle, @handle, or a t.me/… link — the system figures it out.
When changes apply
Immediately: press "Save branding" — and the storefront updates almost instantly, nothing to redeploy. Clients don't need to do anything either. The one exception is the favicon, the app icon, and the social preview: they're cached and may catch up a few minutes later.
Remember
- The storefront is the clients' site: email-code sign-in, a cabinet with the subscription and plans; on Pro — a landing page too.
- The address is a subdomain:
createyourvpn.comon the free tier, the neutralsubscriberhub.xyzon Pro. - The logo automatically becomes the favicon, app icon, and social preview; the accent comes from a palette, light/dark is the client's choice.
- The storefront installs on a phone as an app — with your icon.
- Support contacts from this section are visible in every client's cabinet.
